We currently have an opening for a Power Film Capacitor Design Engineer to join our Fairview, PA Spectrum Advanced Specialty Products team. This individual filling this important position will be responsible for the design and manufacturing of metalized polymer wound film capacitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new products and modifying enhancing existing products to meet customer specifications. Incumbent accomplishes this by communicating with internal and external customers to identify requirements and specifications; coordinating and implementing processes with manufacturing and/or process engineering based on customer needs; maintaining and/or creating supporting documentation using Engineering company information systems. Our ideal candidate will possess the following: - B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years electronic design experience.
- Relevant experience in design and testing of power film capacitors.
- Ability to work with detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with automated & semi-automated test equipment and computer controlled manufacturing systems.
- Provide unique design and packaging options to provide customers with superior product performance.
