The Spectrum Control Antenna business has a growth opportunity to develop new business opportunities in the areas of micro strip, antenna arrays, helical antennas, and radomes as well as other advanced antenna opportunities to support growth and profitability. The position will provide business development and technical proposal support to the engineering and operations group on these technologies and products for legacy products, sustaining efforts and new development.

Position Focus Activities:

• Assists in winning new technology contract at existing and new customers with specific focus on antennas and randomes, particularly micro-strip, reflector and helical antennas and systems.
• Create technical proposals for programs as well as technical/specification reviews with customers.
• Provides support to the Antenna Engineering staff on expanding existing product lines and developing new products/system opportunities.
• Support of the Antenna Engineering staff with customer interface and meetings at bid and post-contractual sustaining activities.
• Works closely with all technical personnel to pursue new components, subsystems, systems and integrated products.
• Works closely with all support and technical personnel to exploit new opportunities and close customer contacts to expand business.
• Provides recommendations regarding acquisition of new analytical tools for design and development of antennas and randomes, antenna systems and sub systems.
• Identify new products for New Product Development consideration with performance requirements and coordinates budget, schedule and cost targets.
• Will be a technical contributor on specific R&D projects.

Minimum of BS degree with courses in Electrical Engineering and RF/Antenna design with work background to include, commercial, military and aerospace industries.

The State College location of Spectrum Control is seeking a Custodian/Janitor to join our Facility Maintenance Team.  This is a full-time opportunity with benefits.

Shift:  10am to 6pm; Monday – Friday

The person filling this important job will be responsible completing duties necessary for the upkeep of a clean manufacturing facility. We are a large facility, approximately 253,000 sq feet. The person filling this role must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds regularly; take pride in a job well done; and be able to work well independently.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Regular cleaning of multiple employee restrooms and break rooms; using a floor scrubber & similar equipment to regularly wash and wax floors; window washing of public areas;

Collection of garbage from various work units; vacuuming of floors in lobby, office, and conference areas; light outdoor upkeep such as sweep sidewalks, salt walks/steps and other duties as assigned to contribute to the upkeep of a clean and sanitary manufacturing facility.
