Spectrum Control Receives $3.1 Million Advanced Specialty Products Order

Fairview, PA, June 3, 2009 --- Spectrum Control, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPEC), a leading designer and manufacturer of custom electronic products and systems, today announced that its Advanced Specialty Products Group received a $3.1 million order last week for ruggidized interconnect assemblies. These complex assemblies will be used by a leading supplier of tactical radios for defense forces. Product deliveries are expected to start immediately with additional follow-on orders anticipated within the next 12 months and continuing for the following three years.
